St. Louis, MO – Two men are suing the Reverend Robert Yim, saying he sexually abused them as a childhood mentor and counselor.
One man accuses Yim of molesting him in the early 1970s at their suburban St. Louis parish in Ballwin, as well as during a trip to Kansas City. The other says Yim sexually abused him from 1989 to 1994 at the Catholic school he attended in Fenton.
The Archdiocese of St. Louis says Yim left the active ministry in 1995. Yim served as a St. Louis hospital's chaplain from 1990 until last year.
