East St. Louis, IL – Several authorities now say they're not so sure East St. Louis City manager Harvey Henderson fell to his death off a bridge.
They say he was knocked over the side by a car or truck, something St. Clair Coroner Rick Stone says he's suspected all along.
Former East St. Louis Mayor Carl Officer, who supervised Henderson's embalming, says he doubts the death was accidental. And an Arkansas medical examiner who reviewed autopsy records for the Belleville News-Democrat says some kind of vehicle hit Henderson.
Henderson's body was found under the Poplar Street Bridge in August after his SUV blew two tires and skidded to a stop.
An autopsy revealed his blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
