Jefferson City, MO – Missouri Supreme Court Justice Michael Wolff says state lawmakers should reconsider some of the state's sentencing laws.
During a forum in Jefferson City yesterday, Wolff said lawmakers should consider the success of drug courts, substance abuse programs and short-term prison boot camps as alternative sentencing methods for non-violent offenders.
More than half of the state's 30,000 prison inmates are considered non-violent.
