Mobile, AL – A plane carrying Illinois Senator Peter Fitzgerald and Senate Minority Leader Trent Lott had to land in Alabama yesterday after pilots reported problems with the landing gear.
The plane was headed to a campaign event in Missouri, and landed safely. Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum was also onboard.
