In the aftermath of the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown, attention has turned to Ferguson. Below are some events that are tied to the issues raised or that are centered in that community.

Ferguson Youth Initiative Volunteer Meeting

When: 5:30 p.m. Oct. 6

About: The Ferguson Youth Initiative will begin hosting a monthly meeting for adults who would like to volunteer with the FYI. These meetings will provide details about current volunteer opportunities.
